CANCELLATION

An applicant requesting cancellation is entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus a $125.00 Registration Fee, provided they cancel in writing, at any time before the execution of the Enrollment Agreement.

An applicant becomes a student of John Wheeler CDL School upon the execution of an enrollment agreement. Students may cancel their enrollment any time prior to five days before the start of classes by submitting a written Notice of Cancellation to John Wheeler CDL School at our location. If cancellation occurs at least five days before the program begins, the student shall receive a refund of all monies paid minus a $125.00 Registration Fee and any costs incurred on behalf of the student by John Wheeler CDL School during the enrollment process, if applicable. Students who begin attendance in their enrolled program are considered Active Students and are responsible for the full tuition cost plus any additional fees, regardless of whether the program is completed.

Cancellation will be considered official as of the date the written Notice of Cancellation is received. If the Notice of Cancellation is received less than five days before the start of the program, the student is not entitled to a refund of any monies paid. Notice of Cancellation must be in writing and addressed to John Wheeler CDL School at the address provided in the enrollment agreement.

DISMISSAL

An applicant not accepted by John Wheeler CDL School will be dismissed and is entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus a $125.00 Registration Fee and any additional costs incurred during the enrollment process, if applicable. Enrolled or Active Students may be dismissed for any violation of the Enrollment Agreement or Student Code of Conduct, failure to comply with the school’s attendance policies, or failure to maintain satisfactory academic progress, and will not be entitled to a refund.

WITHDRAWAL

An Active Student who withdraws or is terminated after the start of the program, and after the period allowed for cancellation as stated above, will not receive a refund. The effective date of withdrawal or termination is the date the school receives written notice of the student’s intent to withdraw or the date the student violates school policy resulting in termination.

REFUND Refunds are processed within 45 days following the receipt of the written Notice of Cancellation.

PRO-RATED REFUND POLICY FOR INITIATIVE & AGENCY ENROLLMENTS

John Wheeler CDL School will implement a pro-rated refund for active students who are enrolled through a Workforce Initiative or Agency Source and choose to withdraw or terminate their training before they have completed more than half of their scheduled enrollment period. Refund calculations are based on the ratio of the total program hours included in the enrollment contract to the number of hours the active student has attended up to the last day of recorded attendance. The aggregate cost detailed in the enrollment agreement reflects the entire duration of the program hours, establishing the per-hour cost that will be applied in the refund computation. Refunds will not be granted once an active student has finished more than 50% of their program. *Refunds that are sanctioned will be processed within a 45-day window following the confirmation of the student’s termination from the program.

LEAVE & RESCHEDULING

John Wheeler CDL School may grant a leave of absence for up to 60 days for Active Students facing personal or medical hardships. Students may return to their program within 60 days of the start of the leave and will be considered re-enrolled upon return. If an illness, accident, or other circumstances prevent the completion of the program, John Wheeler CDL School may arrange a settlement fair to both parties. Students may be permitted to reschedule and must return within 60 days from the leave date.
