Corporate Discount Policy for John Wheeler CDL School
To encourage corporate enrollment and support businesses in training their drivers, John Wheeler CDL School offers the following discount structure:
Corporate Enrollment Discounts
- 3-5 Students per Year: 3% discount on total tuition cost
- 5-10 Students per Year: 5% discount on total tuition cost
- 10+ Students per Year: 10% discount on total tuition cost
Additional Pre-Pay Discount
Pre-Pay Discount: Additional 5% discount on the total tuition cost if the company pays in full for the group (minimum 3 students) upfront. This allows the company to send those students within a 12-month period.
Example Calculations
For a Group of 10 Students in the CLASSIC CDL Program: $5,798.55
- Standard Tuition Cost: $3,999 per student
- Total Tuition Cost for 10 Students: $3,999 x 10 = $39,990
- Corporate Discount (10+ Students): 10% of $39,990 = $3,999
- Discounted Tuition: $39,990 – $3,999 = $35,991
- Pre-Pay Discount: 5% of $35,991 = $1,799.55
- Final Tuition with Pre-Pay Discount: $35,991 – $1,799.55 = $34,191.45
- Total Amount Saved:
- $3,999 (Corporate Discount)
- $1,799.55 (Pre-Pay Discount)
- $5,798.55 (Total Savings)
Flexibility and Recalculation
- Flexibility: If the company is unable to send the total number of prepaid students within the 12-month period, the remaining students can be rolled over to the next 12-month period. The discount will be recalculated based on the number of students sent within the original 12-month period.
- Recalculation: If the company does not send the total number of prepaid students within the 12-month period and opts not to roll over the remaining students, the discount will be recalculated based on the actual number of students who attended. Prices are subject to change, so any rolled-over students will have their discount applied to the current tuition price at the time of recalculation. The recalculated discount will reflect the number of students who attended within the original 12-month period, ensuring the company benefits from the appropriate discount tier.
How to Apply
To apply for the corporate discount, companies do not need to provide a list of enrolled students initially. For the pre-pay discount, the full payment must be made upfront before the start of the program, allowing the company to send the agreed number of students within a 12-month period.
